We have much snow melt this spring.  This is Apache Springs on Box Camp yesterday.  Usually it has a 10" diameter pool, yesterday 10'!

Nearby to the spring are 2 sets of morteros: I in the sun, with a great view to the valley, 1 in the shade.  There are still 3 manos there-must be over 120 years old!  Oaks are close, they likely were grinding acorns, maybe pinyons-its was cooler then, and there were likely pinyons then.
