Laur, Sorry for the delay. December Activities on the Daya Bay RPC Gas System in Princeton: 1. Continue production of the bubbler system for Daya Bay Near Hall. All components of this system should be finished by late March -- but they should be tested for several weeks (along with the gas mixing panel and control system), time permitting, before shipment. 2. Took delivery of the first production gas mixing panel (from Swagelok). Now testing this with a small bubbler system. Performance as verified with our gas chromatograph is good. 3. The proposed vendor for the infrared isobutane concentration monitor (for the mixed gas, not for the gas cabinet safety system) is having trouble meeting our specs. Either we have to buy a more expensive model from them, or find a new vendor. 4. Qing He remains at IHEP for Dec/Jan following the recent collaboration meeting there. --Kirk PS It appears that BNL made the FY09 payment of $40k to Princeton in early Jan 09. Thanks.
